Hallo, ik kijk er naar uit om je te leren kennen!
My name is Asbjørn Borup Næss, I am 21 years old and come from Hammerfest, Norway. Right now, I am in the middle of a bachelor's course in Pedagogy at the University of Oslo. This next semester I will be an exchange student at Utrecht University from the end of August until the end of January. I have lived in a collective for the past two years, with other students, which I really appreciate.
I am an active and outgoing soul with a good mood who likes to do things. I train quite frequently at the fitness center, as well as I play disc golf in the summer and take part in whatever else comes up.
I just recently worked as a research assistant in a large intervention study looking at language development in kindergarten, where I was apart of the “data collection”. I travelled around to different kindergartens and did tasks with children that are a part of the study. This summer I am working as a tourist host in Hammerfest for the third summer in a row, in the world's northernmost city. Being a tourist host includes responsibilities such as a host at the tourist information, our souvenir shop and exhibition.
The collective I live in now is in Oslo and consists of three girls and two boys. There are five of us in total. I have lived there for the past two years, and have lived with nine different people during those two years. I get on well with everyone I have ever lived with, both because the people I live with are very nice, but also because I myself am so sociable and easy going.
In this collective I am the main tenant for the apartment, and therefore responsible for it. I have been responsible for finding new people, organizing and communicating between us tenants and the landlord. Because of this responsibility I am quite familiar with the responsibilities that come with owning something and living by yourself. I have learned that communication, respect and honesty are important things in a good relationship both with the landlord, but also with other roommates. I am really tidy, very flexible, easy going and good at seeing solutions instead of problems.
I'm sure we'll have a great time together. I am a responsible young man who is mature for his age. I look forward to hearing from you, so we can arrange a viewing!
